Gemma Toogood - Head of Commercial Sales & Marketing
I joined Donington Park in November 2010, having spent 3 years at Leicester Tigers Rugby Club heading up the Marketing Department.
At Donington Park, I’m responsible for creating and developing the business strategies for several areas such as Corporate Hospitality, Sponsorship, Advertising, Conference & Events Venue Hire and General Admission for Events, along with producing the marketing strategies which give us the tools and support to sell our products.
I have a fantastic team of 6, to help implement those strategies and action plans in accordance with the Park’s objectives and targets. I’m lucky to work with such a wonderful team and absolutely couldn’t do it without them!
As a lover of most sports – Rugby and Motorsports being my top two – my chosen industry of choice as a marketer is the sports industry, simply because I’m passionate about it and can put my heart and soul in to it. I’m incredibly lucky to have worked at a world class rugby club and gained the experience that I did at Tigers, but I felt even more privileged when this opportunity came along and have thoroughly enjoyed my first season at Donington Park and look forward to many more.
Away from work, I have a pretty full diary most weeks spending time with my much loved family and friends and also enjoy spending time pottering at home and in the garden. I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle in the week and so do a bit of running, but equally enjoy no calorie counting at the weekends! I’m an avid fan of Leicester Tigers so love to go to the ground to enjoy the games when I can.
My favourite sandwich filling is a toasted Tuna and Cheese!
Roger Lowe - Business Development Manager
I was very pleased to join Donington Park in December 2011 as Business Development Manager. My background to date has been hotels & venues coming most recently from Doncaster Racecourse. I have been tasked with the development of the Venue Hire side of the business. My main aim initially will be to show the corporate conference & exhibition market the fantastic facilities on offer.
More so now these buyers are looking for something more than the traditional conference room and Donington is perfectly placed to offer this unique experience with the museum, track days and of course racing all on site. This makes my role an easier and more enjoyable one and I am very much looking forward to driving some of the supercars around the track (all in the name of business of course).
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my Wife & Daughter. My weekends have changed somewhat over the last few years, I used to enjoy a fair few hours in Nottingham’s various public houses and restaurants but now spend my time taking my daughter to ballet dancing, swimming and baking cakes! We enjoy taking our dogs for long walks (or them taking us), we have 2 dogs, a Chocolate Labrador called Poppy she’s completely mental and like a coiled spring ready to run at a seconds notice and Spot who is part Collie, Staffordshire and Sausage dog he has “Queen Anne” legs and tongue that’s too long for his mouth so permanently sticks out!

Harminder Rai-Mottram - Corporate Sales Executive
Being a big fan of motorsports and a regular visitor of Donington Park, I am honoured to be a part of such an exciting and historical venue. I am part of the sales team and specialise in race day corporate hospitality sales for annual and event day packages.
My previous experience stems from specialised sales roles with reputable businesses in the security, healthcare and corporate finance sectors.
Out of work, I enjoy spending time with my loving hubby Darren. I brought my first set of AlpineStars 3 years ago and since have never looked back - I now am a pillion rider on the hubby's Suzuki Hayabusa and also have my own Aprilia 125! We travel to various superbike racing events nationally and look to travel to the major international circuits. I also enjoy socialising with family and friends.

Nick Wale - Event Executive
I joined the team in January 2012 Event Executive. I look after all events here at Donington Park from a small meeting to a large exhibition/trade show, acting as the key contact for customers and clients from an initial telephone call or email through to the delivery of their event. I also work with the rest of the team on major racing events where we ensure everything runs like clockwork.
Prior to Donington Park I have worked for a health and safety association, a government regeneration project, a university and a premier league football club.
I have always been a massive sports fan, primarily football and rugby but grew up watching motorsport including Touring Cars and Formula One. I used to collect scattered bits of broken bumpers on visits to watch racing at Mallory Park with my Dad (which were promptly binned when we got home).
I live in Leicester and out of working hours I play drums in a band, go to the gym and spend time with my family and friends.
My favourite sandwich filling is Coronation Chicken.
