BTCC Season Launch
The 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Championship Season Launch is the first opportunity to see the full line-up of the 2017 BTCC season. Teams will show off their new liveries and cars, while returning legends, established stars and young pretenders will be in action during the exclusive afternoon test session, giving the first insight into who is in the best shape heading into the new season. Entry is free of charge.
Traditionally the final entry list is confirmed at the annual event, as well as the hosting of a press conference, TV filming, official photography and driver interviews.
The full ‘class of 2017’ will be introduced to the gathered media in Donington Park’s Paddock Suite, which has provided the perfect backdrop for the event since 2013.
An official four-hour pre-season test will also take place on the day, with fans being welcomed to the venue FREE of charge for their first glimpse of the cars and stars ahead of the new campaign.
This is your first chance to see the new cars, drivers, teams and liveries in action, so get set for an unmissable day. Public entry times foir the afternoon will be published in due course.

What time will the gates open? – Gates will be open at 12.30pm.
Can I purchase my ticket at the gate? – Entry to this event is free of charge.
Are children free? – Yes children aged 13 and under are free.
Do I need to pay for parking? – Parking is free for this event.
Can I visit the museum? – Yes, tickets are available at the musuem priced at £12 per adult.
Is the Melbourne loop hairpin in use for this event? – There won’t be any action on this section of the track, it is used for access only.
Can I leave the circuit and return on the same day? - Yes you can. Please ensure you scan your ticket or have your hand stamped when leaving the venue. You can only re-enter the venue if your ticket is valid for that day, and your hand is stamped.
Is there disabled parking and viewing available? - The disabled access area and view point is located at Gate 10 - Coppice Corner. There is an elevated viewing and parking area offering a good view of the track. Please ensure your vehicle displays a blue badge, and you'll be directed to the disabled viewing area upon arrival at the event.
Can I get into the pits and paddock? - The paddock is open for this event, but please note there will be heavy vehicle movement so please be cautious and ensure children are supervised at all times. Pit areas are only accessible by authorised personnel.
Where are the baby changing facilities? - Baby changing and feeding facilities are available at Redgate Suite Information. The Paddock Suite also contains these facilities.
Are animals permitted on site? - No animals are permitted anywhere on site, with the exception of guide/assistance dogs.
Are there any cash machines on site? - Yes, free to use cash machines can be found in the Pitstop Restaurant in the paddock, or at the Donington Collections museum.
Where can I report lost property or hand in something I have found? - Please head to the security point at Gate 21 (opposite the FIA Formula E complex) to hand in or report any lost property.
Can I take photos of the racing? - You are welcome to bring cameras to the event and take photographs, but for personal use only.
Can I bring a drone camera with me? - Drone cameras and remote controlled aircraft are not permitted, and may be confiscated if found.
