Many top motor sport organisations are associated with the Donington Grand Prix Collection.
Hall 4 of the Collection is dedicated entirely to McLaren. Containing approximately 30 McLaren cars at any one time, it is the largest collection of McLaren cars on public display in the world and includes the car in which Ayrton Senna won his final Grand Prix for the team in 1993, and is a sister car to that which he drove to victory in the European Grand Prix at Donington Park in the same year.
The continued support from McLaren enables the Collection to display some of the latest Formula One cars as well as fine examples of earlier models restored to their original form by the McLaren Heritage Department.
The Williams(F1) Collection comprises a range of cars, including the 1992 Williams Renault FW14B in which Nigel Mansell won the first five Grands Prix of 1992 (and subsequently the World Championship).
Dunlop Goodyear have been continued supporters of the Donington Grand Prix Collection. Over the years they have donated exhibits for display purposes and sponsored projects undertaken at the Collection.
Their most recent partnership support is in connection with the sponsorship of a specially designed caption display which is located in front of all the main exhibits in the Donington Grand Prix Colletion.
The Donington Grand Prix Collection would like to thank all individuals and companies who have donated items to the Collection. It is due to these many contributions that the Collection is as comprehensive as it is.
