Trucking enthusiasts will be revving with excitement for the end of the week when the FIA British Truck Grand Prix sponsored by Renault Trucks roars into Donington Park on June 30 and July 1.

These British HGVs are fine tuned to defy physics and reach speeds of up to 100mph. The drivers are of supreme technical ability, with the races usually very close, they have to use all their cunning, nerve and driving nous in the battle for 1st place.

The 1200 BHP trucks, with a minimum weight requirement of 5,500 kg, are travelling Europe as part of the FIA European Truck Racing Championships. The 8 rounds are fast becoming one of the Continent’s most popular championships.

The action starts at 9am with the practice sessions and then the first race zooms into action at 1pm with 20,000 truckers expected to attend.

To celebrate being the official hotel partner of Donington Park, we’ve got 5 pairs of tickets to give away along with 5 double rooms at our luxurious, new, four-star hotel, just a short drive away from the circuit.

We’ll also throw in a delicious dinner, including a bottle of wine, and our great breakfast on Sunday morning. We’ll also provide free parking for the duration of your stay.
