British Superbike opening round spectator information

The opening round of the MCE British Superbike Championship season takes place this weekend (31 March-2 April), offering the first chance this year to see the world’s leading domestic superbike championship! With an exciting weekend of action to look forward to, here’s some information to help you make the most of your visit to Donington Park.

Gate opening times and entry prices
Gates will open at 7.30am across the weekend, and individual tickets are available on the gate as follows:
Friday: £10
Saturday: £15
Sunday: £30
Weekend: £45

Children aged 13 and under go free with an accompanying adult throughout the weekend. Limited campsite spaces are also available, but please call 01332 810048 to confirm availability before setting off.

Track activity times
Bikes will take to the track at 9am on all three days. BSB bikes will be on track at the following times:

Friday: 13.00 – 13.45 & 16.15 – 17.00 (free practice)
Saturday: 10.50 – 11.35 & 16.02 – 16.46 (free practice and qualifying)
Sunday: 09.30 – 09.45 (warm up), 13.30 (race one) & 16.30 (race two)

Public viewing areas and big screens
All the standard viewing areas will be open for viewing, including the infield and infield grandstand. A number of big screens will be in operation in popular viewing areas across the weekend, positioned at Redgate, Hollywood and the infield.

Programmes, competitions and social media
Souvenir programmes will be available at busy entrance points around the circuit for just £5 throughout the weekend. These will be full of information on this weekend’s event, and there will also be four golden tickets placed inside programmes, with special prizes on offer! Keep an eye on Donington’s official Twitter and Facebook feeds too, as there will be an opportunity to win a goody bag each day! Our thanks to the BMMC East Midlands division for assisting with programme sales this weekend.

Trade and merchandise areas
A selection of merchandise and trade stalls will be in operation at Redgate, the infield and in the Engine Room exhibition centre, allowing fans to purchase the latest team and rider merchandise, as well as other memorabilia.

Catering and food points
The Pit Stop restaurant in the paddock will be open throughout the weekend serving hot food and refreshments, while outlets will also be open in the paddock, at the paddock entrance and at Redgate corner on the infield and at other popular locations around the circuit. The Museum café will also be open throughout the weekend.

Cash machines
There are free to use cash machines at the Grand Prix Collection and at the Pit Stop Restaurant.

FunZone, entertainment and other family activities
A FunZone is in operation throughout the weekend on the infield, with bouncy castles, trampolines, simulators, facepainting, remote control cars and go karts. A vintage bike display will take place in the Engine Room exhibition centre, while live bands will be playing at the campsite on Friday and Saturday evenings, once circuit action has finished.

Helmet & leather storage
There will be the opportunity to deposit helmets and leathers on site during the weekend. A helmet and leathers park will be in operation at Suite 44 by Redgate corner, for a small charge.

Disabled/Accessibility viewing
There are two areas that offer disabled and accessibility viewing. There is a suite at Redgate corner and a raised viewing area at Coppice that allows cars to be parked. Please ensure disabled badges are displayed on your vehicle and our security team will be happy to assist with directions.
