Bumper race schedule from British Motorcycle Racing Club set to entertain this weekend
The world’s oldest motorcycle racing organisation, the British Motorcycle Racing Club (BMCRC) will visit Donington Park next weekend (17-18 June) for a big schedule of 30 races.
A huge variety of two and three wheel machines will be in action, with hundreds of riders set to take part, with 10 races on Saturday and 20 on Sunday.
Series set to entertain this weekend include the young guns of the Team Green Junior Cup, which is a series for 13-18 year-old racers looking to make their name in the sport and follow in the footsteps of names such as Danny Buchan and Mason Law who followed a similar career path.
Big bikes with 1000cc capacities will contest the MRO Powerbikes and Clubman 1000s, while racing newcomers will compete in the Rookie 600s and 1000s, and the EDIasia Formula 400 and Rookie 400s.
The evocative sounding Thunderbike Extreme series will also be in action, while the daredevil competitors of the F1 and F2 Sidecars will provide entertainment aplenty with their three wheeled machines.
Further competition coming from the Supersport-style Respro MRO 600, Minitwins and classic machines from the 1980s and 1990s of the DFDS Yamaha Past Masters.
The paddock will be open as usual, allowing spectators to meet the competitors and watch them ready for battle.
Tickets for the BMCRC at Donington Park on 17-18 June will be available on the gate for £17, while children aged 13 and under go free. For more information, click here.
