Former World Champion Guintoli on hand to open Donington campsite

Former World Champion Sylvain Guintoli was on hand this afternoon to open the Donington Park campsite for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship round.

World Superbike fans are camping on the infield for the first time ever this weekend, and Guintoli conducted the official ribbon cutting ceremony with Donington Park Managing Director Christopher Tate and three representatives of the BLT Motorsport Fanzone, dressed resplendently in their Union Jack outfits.

The campsite for the Superbike World Championship this weekend features plenty of entertainment with live music and rider appearances, as well as fun activities including a football pitch and a space hopper race zone, as well as an on-site bar and food. Spectators can still purchase camping slots for the weekend, priced at £35, upon arrival at the circuit. For more information, click here.
