Frantic motorcycle racing to provide No Limits this weekend
A busy weekend of 20 races from a variety of motorcycles will come from No Limits Racing this weekend (7-8 October) for the penultimate bike racing event of the year at Donington Park.
This is the final event of the club’s season, so with championships on the line, the racing is set to be hard fought and no doubt very exciting. Saturday’s action builds up to a three hour endurance race while 14 sprint style contests will take place on Sunday.
The Metzeler Newcomer 600 is one championship on the line, with three riders all in with a chance of taking the title, separated by 16 points with 100 up for grabs.
It’s all still to play for in the Metzeler Newcomer 1000 too, though current leader Andrew Ruscoe holds an 83 point lead, and merely needs a solid weekend to take the crown.
A similar story is to be found in the Pirelli Super Series 1000, where Phillip Bevan holds a 65 point lead with 75 available across the weekend, while the Pirelli Super Series 600 category has already been secured.
Further action will come from the No Limits Club 600/Pre Injection 600, with the Pre Injection series is to be decided between three riders, while there’s a close fought scrap between Michael Austin and Mark Bridger in the Club 1000 category, with 12 points separating the duo and 100 still to play for.
The Endurance race on Saturday afternoon will also see a title decided, with two teams capable of winning the Club Endurance 1000 category. Endurance motorcycle racing is comparatively rare but no less thrilling, with teams having to balance outright speed with tactics in order to stand a chance of taking the honours.
Tickets for the No Limits Motorcycle races at Donington Park on 7-8 October are available upon arrival at the circuit, priced at £17 for adults, with free entry for children aged 13 and under. For more information, click here.
