No Limits riders set to go the distance at Donington Park this weekend

Endurance racers face the ultimate test at Donington Park this Saturday (29 July), with teams of up to four riders set to do battle in a gruelling 1000 kilometre contest.

Hundreds of riders are expected to compete in what is thought to be Britain’s first 1000km race for motorcycles, with up to 50 teams scheduled to battle it out on one of the country’s most demanding circuits.

Endurance racing tests all sorts of rider abilities, with each competitor having to combine outright speed with the ability to ride for long distances at a time without making mistakes, while constantly having to monitor tactics and strategy.

Action starts just past 9am with qualifying, before the race commences at 11.15, with a scheduled duration of almost nine hours!

The paddocks will be open throughout the event, allowing spectators to mingle with the teams and riders as they race. Tickets will be available on the gate, priced at £17 for adults, with free entry for children aged 13 and under. For more information, click here
