  • I have a Supercar, will I have noise problems on a road silenced day?

Thanks to their exhaust bypass valves - many STANDARD Ferrari/Lamborghini exhausts fail our 'Quiet' noise test instantly (particularly F430 but also 355/360). Hence ANY Supercar without Catalytic Convertors in place or with an aftermarket 'Sports' silencer will definately exceed our 'Quiet Day' noise test limits.

In general Ferrari's and Lamborghini's need to have modified exhaust systems/extra silencing - over and above standard - to take part in our 'Quiet', 98dba track days. To be safe we strongly recommend owners of Supercars to only attend track days at Donington Park labelled as 'Noisy' or 'Unsilenced' to avoid dissapointment. For more details relating to our noise restrictions click here.

Yes, on bike days we have an ACU registered instructor and on car days an ARDS racing instructor will be present.

  • My vehicle has passed a noise test at another circuit, will it be OK?

Circuits noise testing limits are set by individual councils and these regulations differ along with the method used for testing. Passing a noise test at another circuit will in no way gaurentee passing the test imposed on Donington Park. Equally, ACU testing has no relevance for track days at Donington Park.
