Donington Park’s longer Grand Prix circuit returns to the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship schedule for the first time in more than two decades this summer, with a prime height of summer date. The August Bank Holiday weekend meeting promises to be a real calendar highlight as the drivers take on a fresh challenge.
Track-prepared saloon cars from BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Toyota and more will star throughout the triple-header event, with hybrid boost adding to the on-track intrigue. The battles so far this season suggest Ash Sutton, Tom Ingram, Jake Hill and Colin Turkington are the drivers to beat, but this is the BTCC, and on a layout new to many of the drivers, expect plenty of twists and turns!
In addition to the BTCC, there will be a host of support race categories in action, including MINI Challenge and the Porsche Carrera Cup.
Plus there’s plenty to see and do around the venue, and a chance to meet the star names in Sunday’s free pit walk and autograph session.
Please note: Camping pitches have now sold out. Additional tickets are still available to buy on the gate for anybody who has already purchased a camping pitch.
