Busy fields of tin tops spanning all ages are set to entertain on the Donington Park National circuit this Easter Saturday, courtesy of the Classic Touring Car Racing Club (CTCRC) and the Britcar Trophy.
Retro machines will take centre stage courtesy of the CTCRC, with touring cars spanning at least four decades set to compete across a series of races across the day. A number of legendary Super Touring cars are expected to feature with a single race on Saturday as part of a shared grid - which also include pre '83 and pre '93 touring cars - as a number of these crowd favourites from the BTCC’s golden era return to the venue that staged so many memorable moments in the 1980s and 1990s.
Contemporary machines will compete in the Britcar Trophy, with a mixture of sports cars and saloons set to do battle amongst a varied grid.
Furthermore, there’s additional contests for the Mini Se7en Challenge, and the ultra-quick British Superkart Racing Club.
