The Bennetts British Superbike Championship blasts back to Donington Park on 17-19 May, as the world’s top domestic superbike category revs up in the East Midlands for three barnstorming races on the Grand Prix circuit. Last weekend saw the first R&G Official test event of the year take place, with Donington local Kyle Ryde topping the times on his OMG GRILLA Yamaha, ahead of last year’s title runner-up Glenn Irwin on the Hager PBM Ducati.

But with Ryde’s teammate Ryan Vickers also in the mix, as well as the Honda duo of Andrew Irwin and reigning champion Tommy Bridewell, plus the confirmed return of Leon Haslam on the ROKiT Haslam Racing BMW, all signs point towards another epic season of action, especially with the FHO Racing BMW of Peter Hickman well up the order, and ensuring four manufacturers were inside the top-six.

As well as three superb Bennetts BSB races, there’s a brilliant support race package to look forward to, headlined by the Quattro Group British Supersport, with further action from the R&G British Talent Cup, Tracker Kawasaki Superteens, Pirelli National Superstock and Pirelli National Sportbike categories.

Fans will have the chance to meet the stars of the show in the free pit walk and autograph session on the main Sunday race day, and will be able to browse the latest merchandise range at the numerous trade stands. Meanwhile, big screens in the most popular viewing areas will ensure none of the action is missed.
