Vaux Valves moves from Brands Hatch to Donington Park in 2023, as the East Midlands circuit celebrates all things Vauxhall Motors!
The venue will be filled with hundreds of Vauxhall display cars from owners' clubs and individuals, so there will be massive variety from one of the world’s most extensive back catalogues.
Expect to see some legendary motorsport machines ranging from iconic sports cars of the 1970s and 80s, plus the epic BTCC Super Tourers from the 1990s.
In addition to the off track highlights, there will be a full programme of racing from the 750 Motor Club.

Classic Stock Hatch Championship
Classic Stock Hatch is the eternally popular formula for fans of retro hot hatches. Any pre-1992 hatchback with a sub-1400cc 16V or sub-1600 8V engine is eligible, whilst Yokohama control tyres, regulated minimum weights and success ballast for podium finishers keep the field incredibly close.
Alfa Romeo Championship
Featuring a variety of classes to cater for all Alfas in addition to ‘Italian Invitation’. Drivers become part of an established Alfa racing community, helping and respecting other competitors and promoting clean, exciting competition.
Super & Mighty Mighty Minis
Mighty Minis racing was launched in 1996 and is now in is twenty eighth year, offering some of the most close and exciting Mini racing in the UK.
5Club MX5 Cup
For the Mk1 roadster puts the focus on driver ability and is as competitive as it is great value. Many successful drivers have used the formula to hone their skills before stepping up to victories elsewhere.
BMW Club Car Racing Championship
BMW CCR is the club-level race formula re-launched by the only officially recognised BMW Car Club in the UK, including the one-make E46 BMW Cup as part of a five-class offering for both ‘M’ and ‘non-M’ models.
Clio Sport Championship
Clio 197/200 models join the 182 models in one of 750MC’s closest championships. The later generation cars are regulated to run at the same pace across a season as a 182, allowing all cars to compete for the overall championship title.
Club Enduro
Featuring grids of production sports and saloon cars and some incredibly varied machinery.
Cars run in three classes separated by power to weight ratio, with outputs enforced by 750MC’s own mobile rolling road.
Historic 750 Formula
The series caters for Austin Seven Specials and Reliant engined cars that used to run in 750 Formula in period, as well as other small capacity race cars and new cars built to very strict guidelines.

On-Track Parade
All display and club cars at the event will have the opportunity to participate in the track parade on the famous Donington Park GP circuit, at no extra cost!
Gymkhana
Vaux Valves will feature a Gymkhana! Display and club car owners attending the event will have the opportunity to book and pay on the day to drive their own Vauxhall on the special Gymkhana course. Individual charges apply.
Special Demo - Mega Bertha
Mega Bertha will be taking part in a special on-track demonstration, the only opportunity for fans to see the famous car on circuit this year – driven by owner Ric Wood.
Special demo - Old Nail
The famous 'Old Nail' Firenza, as raced in the '70's by Gerry Marshall, will appear as part of the special motorsport display and on-track demonstration.
Special Demo - 2000 BTCC Vauxhall Vectra Super Tourer
The 2000 ex-Jason Plato BTCC Vauxhall Vectra Super Tourer, owned by Jason Hughes, will be taking part in the special motorsport display and demonstration on the full Grand Prix circuit layout at Donington Park.
Special Demo - '95 BTCC Cavalier Super Tourer
The 1995 ex-John Cleland BTCC championship winning Vauxhall Cavalier Super Tourer, owned by Mike Newton, will be taking part in the special motorsport demonstration on the full Grand Prix circuit layout at Donington Park.
Special demo - 1995 BTCC Cavalier
This was the last super tourer Cavalier built by Ray Mallock in 1995. Current owner, Tony Absolom, will be taking part in the special motorsport display and on-track demonstration.
Special Demo - 2005 BTCC Vauxhall Astra Coupe
Fiona Leggate's 2005 BTCC Vauxhall Astra Coupe will be taking part in the special Vauxhall Motorsport display and demonstration on circuit.
SPECIAL DEMO - 1990 BTCC Vauxhall Cavalier
Jim Pocklington will bring his ex-John Cleland BTCC Vauxhall Cavalier to Donington Park to join the displays and demos.
Special demo - Transpeed Firenza
Tony Davies will be bringing the iconic Transpeed Firenza to join the demo and display line-up.
Special demo - Vauxhall Chevette HSR works rally car
Paul Sidebottom will be bringing his Vauxhall Chevette HSR works rally car to take part in the special motorsport display and on-track demonstration.
Special Demo - Vauxhall Viva GT
This Vauxhall Viva GT is a beautifully built replica of the famous car Gerry Marshall raced in the 1971 OSRAM Saloon Car Championship at Crystal Palace.
Special Demo - Vauxhall Carton GSi
This race prepared Vauxhall Carlton GSi, owned by Cliff Butler, will be taking part in the special motorsport display and demonstration on the full GP circuit.
Special demo - Mk2 Vauxhall Astra
John Hammersley, from the Classic Sports Car Club, will be bringing his 1989 Vauxhall Astra GTE to take part in the special motorsport display and on-track demonstration.
Special demo - Holden Commodore
This race prepared Holden Commodore, owned by Cliff Butler, will be taking part in the special motorsport display and on-track demonstration on the GP circuit.
Simulator Experience
Perfect Acceleration will be in attendance with simulators for you to experience driving the Donington Park GP Circuit in a Formula Vauxhall or Vauxhall Cavalier Super Tourer. Sessions are £10 per person.
SLOT CAR RACING
Organised by the Derby HO Racing Club, spectators will have the chance to go Slot Car Racing at Vaux Valves. Prizes will be awarded to the most laps completed in 2 minutes at the end of the event, to add some more competition to the day. Individual charges apply.
