Donington Park hosts the Caterham 50th Anniversary Festival, with a programme devoted to the iconic British sports car manufacturer, this weekend (2/3 September). Caterhams are renowned for providing scintillating action at racetracks up and down the country, and this weekend’s action will be exclusively for these legendary sports roadsters.
The full range of Caterham’s racing categories will be on show, including the novices of the Caterham Academy, through the Roadsports, 270R, and 310R divisions, right up to the top-line Seven Championship UK. The weekend will also feature content from the Magnificent Sevens and Graduates race series.
Cars in each division are equally matched, pretty much guaranteeing superb racing action through the fast sweeps and straights of the Donington Park Grand Prix circuit.
Expect hundreds of cars and drivers, and the paddock will be open all weekend, allowing spectators to get a closer look at the machinery on offer. You can also expect plenty of action from Caterham Cars too, as they'll be attending with their latest range of UK models, a heritage timeline, a Caterham Simulator and a few other suprises.
