A busy programme of races from MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) heads to the Donington Park National circuit this weekend (15-16 July) with two days of huge variety coming up.
Saturday’s action includes eight races, including two contests for some of the quickest four-wheel vehicles to race on the circuit all season, the mighty Superkarts!
These machines can easily hit speeds in excess of 140mph, and are capable of setting some of the fastest lap times of the season. The miniscule machines always have big entries, and make for quite a sight as they buzz around in big packs!
Tin top action will come from the MSVT Trackday Trophy, where newcomers to the sport go racing for the first time, and another MSVT series, the Miata Trophy, will feature big grids of popular Mazda MX-5s doing battle.
There’s sports car action as well from the Sports 2000 Championship across two categories, and from the Clubmans Sports Prototype Championship. There’s always lots of variety here from one of the UK’s longest-running series.
Sunday’s action is headlined by a five hour epic for the flourishing EnduroKA series. This is one of the UK’s fastest growing categories, with exciting, cost-effective racing attracting dozens of drivers each year.
The five hour contest in the afternoon will conclude the event, and there’s further action from the returning Clubmans, Sports 2000 and Superkarts too.
Tickets for each day are available in advance, priced at £15 per day, with full weekend tickets priced at £24. Discounted rates are on offer for teenagers aged 13-15, and children under-13 go free. Click here to book Saturday tickets, or click here to purchase Sunday tickets.
