With a mammoth 39 races on the timetable courtesy of the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club, there’s plenty to look forward to on track, including races for the ACU Classic and Lansdowne Cup for Grand Prix machinery, plus the hotly-fought Wheatcroft Trophy and dozens of other categories for bikes and sidecars from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Hundreds of bikes and riders are expected to compete at one of the busiest events of the season.
In addition to the epic on track competition, there’s a number of special parades also taking place, filled with famous racing machinery previously raced by names including Barry Sheene, Fred Merkel and Joey Dunlop, with special guest appearances including Jamie Whitham, Rory Skinner, Alex George, Freddie Sheene and many more.
Furthermore, there’s big display areas on the Melbourne Loop, including special exhibits from the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club and for Historic Grand Prix bikes.
