Donington Park hosts a day full of retro motorsport courtesy of Equipe Classic Racing this Saturday (8 July) when a variety of 50s, 60s and 70s racing cars will tear around the track.

Equipe Classic Racing events focus on camaraderie, fair racing spirit and competitive but fun on-track action. The cars are generally maintained to high standards too.

Categories in action include Pre ’66 Classic Sports & GT Cars, 70s Touring & Sports Cars, Pre ’63 & ‘50s Sports Cars and Equipe Libre. This vast mixture of retro racers can be seen by spectators up close, as the paddock will be open all day.

The MG BCV8 will provide a stunning soundtrack, along with many other V8s that are likely to attend. The racing portfolio is completed by the GT and Sports Car Cup which features charismatic Pre ’66 GT cars.

Discounted advance tickets are available from £15 with reductions for 13-15-year-olds and free entry for under-13s. After 4pm on Friday, they will only be available at full price on the gate. For more information, click here.
