The Intelligent Money British GT Championship heads to Donington Park next weekend (27/28 May) with a packed grid of epic supercars set to do battle in a two hour contest on the Grand Prix circuit.

Marques including Aston Martin, Lamborghini, McLaren and Mercedes-AMG are represented on the multi-million pound grid, with Darren Leung and Dan Harper currently leading the way in their mighty BMW M4.

British GT has grown ever stronger in recent years, but the 2023 grid is bursting with talent courtesy of multiple ‘factory’ drivers from across Europe, alongside some of the UK’s leading sports car contenders.

The action so far this year at Oulton Park and Snetterton has fully lived up to the pre-season talk, and the two hour contest at Donington Park, featuring refuelling and driver change pit stops on the main Sunday race day (28 May), should provide more of the same at a circuit that always throws up sensational British GT drama.

As well as the British GT action, there’s aspiring F1 stars of the future in the GB4 Championship, the UK’s newest entry-level single-seater championship. The series has attracted youngsters from as far as the USA and Australia, with three contests set to provide further entertainment across the weekend.

In addition, there’s plenty more sports car action to look forward to, courtesy of Ginetta. Some of the UK’s youngest racers will fight it out in the Ginetta Junior Championship, featuring racers as young as 14. Additional contests from the Ginetta GT Academy and the Ginetta GT Championship, with three races for each series, will ensure wall to wall action across the two days.

While there’s loads of supercars to savour on track, the paddock will be full of them too, with supercar display areas in the vicinity of the Garage 39 restaurant, café and bar.

Tickets are available in advance, with main race day admission priced at £25 for adults, with discounted entry for teenagers aged 13-15, and free entry for children. For more information and to book, click here.
