The racing line-up already promises a superb on-track spectacle, with hundreds of cars expected at the event, and some boasting over a century of competition history! Rather than being consigned to museums, these epic machines will be pushed to the limit over the two day festival.
Look out for pre-war machinery in the Mad Jack races, harking back to Donington’s famed 1930s Grand Prix, plus GTs and sports cars from the 1950s and 60s, tin tops spanning multiple decades and plenty in-between, with the full race package to be announced soon.
The calibre of drivers matches that of the cars too, with past and present-day BTCC and Le Mans names often seen on the entry lists.
With two days jam-packed with race action, track displays and parades, an open-access paddock and pitlane walks, a trade village, plus the presence of hundreds of cherished classic cars in displays staged by dozens of car clubs, the Donington Historic Festival has long been a ‘must do’ event in the historic motorsport calendar.
Earlybird ticket prices start at just £23 for a one-day adult (16+) entry, with discounts for teens aged 13-15. Children under 13s are admitted for free. For further information and to secure earlybird tickets, click here.
