The Donington Park motorsport season roars into life in just over a month’s time, courtesy of the Dukeries Rally on Sunday 17 March. Tickets are available in advance priced at £18 for adults, with reductions for teens and free entry for children under-13. Click here for more information.
Rallying is a spectacular way to start the season, with up to 80 cars expected to powerslide their way around the venue. Rather than racing each other, this eclectic mix of machinery will instead be up against the clock in order to set the best possible times on each stage. So there’s no lifting off, and nothing but flat-out action!
Each crew will take on the challenges of a revamped Donington Park, with cars not just circulating round the circuit, but also using other areas of the venue’s infrastructure including off track sections through the circuit infield and access roads, making for a spectacular sight as the gravel is flicked up and cars traverse through additional objects including tyre chicanes and handbrake turn points.
There’ll be action throughout the day with cars ranging from rally favourites such as Subaru Imprezas and modern WRC-style machines, as well as a few left-field choices too!
The paddock will be open throughout, offering a close-up look at the crews in action between stages, as well as a chance to see the stage start points, with wheelspin aplenty!
Tickets are available in advance until 4pm on Thursday 14 March, after which they’ll be available at full gate prices upon arrival. For more information or to book, click here.
