Rodin Motorsport makes shock British GT move with Ferrari GT3

Junior single seater powerhouse Rodin Motorsport will make its sportscar racing debut in 2026 when it joins the British GT Championship grid with Ferrari.

The team is no stranger to the British GT paddock thanks to its GB3 programme and boasts further single-seater credentials operating further afield in the likes of F1 Academy, FIA F2 and FIA F3. It was formerly known as Carlin, a team that achieved great success across a range of motorsport disciplines, before Rodin assumed full control in late 2023.

However, this is the first time that the now-New Zealand-flagged operation will have raced anything with a roof since its rebranding. The team will compete in the new Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo, which has received significant upgrades over the first-generation model first presented in mid-2022.

The team will confirm their drivers for 2026 at a later date.

Rodin Motorsport sporting director Benn Huntingford said: “We’re pleased to be adding a British GT programme to our activities for 2026. It’s a well-established championship with strong competition and we’ll approach it with the same professionalism we bring to all of our racing operations.”

Rodin Cars founder David Dicker added: “At Rodin, we are always looking for new opportunities. GT3 is one of the strongest racing categories in the world and we are very happy to join it, especially with a Ferrari.”
