BTCC Title battle heats up with summer showdown at Donington Park this August

17 July 2025

The 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship makes its second visit to Donington this year for a clash around the full Grand Prix circuit on 30/31 August. With two more events to run following this fixture, its set to be a crucial and memorable weekend in deciding the fate of this year’s title fight. Star contenders hoping to maximise their points tally at this key stage of the season will include former champions Ash Sutton and Tom Ingram, who’ve been fighting it out at the top of the standings all year. Others to keep an eye on will include Dan Cammish and Daniel Rowbottom, plus last year’s champion Jake Hill.

Three BTCC races will top the bill on Sunday, with machinery from BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Toyota and more chasing the silverware. The addition of the Melbourne Loop on the extended GP layout will add more heavy braking overtaking opportunities – especially once the script is flipped for the reverse grid race at the end of the day.

The full weekend schedule includes Free Practice and Qualifying on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s headline triple-header. Support action comes from the Wera Tools F4 British Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup GB and VERTU MINI CHALLENGE.

Raceday tickets are just £35 if you book online in advance, with reductions for 13 to 15 year-olds and FREE entry for under 13s. Click here for more information, including grandstand and camping upgrades and to book online.
