Connor Thomson will make his full-time debut in the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship this season, returning with the NP Racing team after making a wildcard appearance with them in 2024.

The 23–year-old from Surrey made his debut with the team at the 2024 Brands Hatch season finale, getting the first experience of the Superbike class after competing in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship.

Thomson said: "Getting to be on the Superbike grid for my debut season in BSB is a moment I’ve worked towards for so many years. This year is all about growth, learning every session, improving every lap, and building strong momentum with the team. I’m focused on making consistent progress, staying composed under pressure, and giving everything I have every time I roll out of the garage. This is just the beginning, and I’m ready to embrace the challenge."

Team Owner Neil Pearson concluded: “When Connor wildcarded for the team in 2024, he showed grit and determination on the mammoth task he undertook. I am pleased to welcome him back to the team and give him a chance to show what he can do over a full season, with the opportunity to grow and progress at each round.

“We both know this is a 'David and Goliath' situation as it is never easy in this championship, but the team are more determined than ever to make the 2026 season a great one.”
