Reigning British GT4 champions Marc Warren and Jack Brown will both make their senior class debuts this year with Optimum Motorsport in a McLaren 720S GT3 Evo.
The pair made history after their season-long battle with Ravi Ramyead and Charlie Robertson by becoming the first Pro-Am crew to lift the overall title since 2016. Brown also became British GT’s first-ever two-time GT4 champion and established a new record for career GT4 victories by winning the final race of the campaign.
Brown has been part of its domestic GT4 programme since 2023 when he came agonisingly close to winning the championship. That defeat was avenged a year later alongside Zac Meakin before one of their title rivals, Warren, helped the 31-year-old go back-to-back.
They now move to GT3 Silver-Am, a class not available in the junior category.
I’m delighted to be returning to the British GT Championship with Optimum Motorsport for the 2026 season,” said Brown. “Marc and I enjoyed a very strong year together last season, and moving up to GT3 feels like the natural next step for us. We’re both excited to take on a new challenge and continue learning as we head into the 2026 season.”
Warren was amongst GT4’s standout amateurs in 2024 and 2025, and now feels ready to test himself against his GT3 contemporaries.
“Absolutely buzzing to move up to GT3 this year with Jack and Optimum Motorsport,” he said. “I'm itching to get out in the car and feel the speed. It’s a big step for us and we’re going up against a lot of experienced GT3 drivers so our primary concern is winning Silver-Am. We’ll be delighted if we can contend for overall results.”
Optimum’s additional British GT3 and GT4 entries will be revealed at a later date.
