A maxed out entry of 100 rally cars will take on the Zone Systems Dukeries Rally on Sunday (15 March) as the Donington Park motor racing season revs into life.
The event forms part of the 2025/26 Protyre Circuit Rally Championship, which is reaching the closing stages of the season, with November event winners John Griffiths and Emma Morrison leading the charge in their Skoda Fabia R5.
They will be pushed all the way by Michael Igoe in his Citroen C3 Rally2, though the multiple champion will have a new co-driver alongside him, with Kirsty Riddick stepping into the seat of Will Atkins.
Griffiths/Morrison may have taken the spoils at the Donington Rally, but Igoe has won all three events since to close the gap at the top of the standings, which was widened when the Citroen failed to finish during the most recent Donington event. But with dropped scores coming into effect at the end of the event, whoever finishes on top this weekend will have the upper hand in the championship battle.
There's a hugely varied entry list encompassing plenty of traditional rally machinery including Ford Escorts, Mitsubishi Lancers and Subaru Imprezas, as well as more unique entries including an Aston Martin GT4 and a Porsche GT3! Click here to view the full seeded entry list.
Each crew will be taking on seven stages, which will utilise the Donington Park circuit layout in varying directions, some of the tarmac routes on the infield, plus the Tarmac Lake and Heritage Loop areas, with plenty of obstacles including tyre chicanes and split points set to provide further challenges. Action is set to commence at 09.15 with the final stage scheduled to end at 17.50. While the circuit will feature almost non-stop action throughout the day, each crew will return to the paddock service area between stages as they prepare for the next run, and the paddock will be open throughout, allowing a closer look at the cars and teams.
In addition, a display of rally machinery from Slowly Sideways will also be on show, featuring over a dozen cars including an Audi Quattro S1, a Nissan 240RS, Saab 99 Turbo and a Toyota Corolla S2000.
Tickets for the event are still available in advance, priced at £19 for adults, with additional discounts for teenagers aged 13-15 and free entry for children under-13.
