Ryan Vickers was back on top of the ZYN British Superbike Championship times in warm up this morning as the Honda Racing UK rider outpaced Max Cook and Leon Haslam.
Ryan moved to the top early on in the short morning session, finishing just 0.122s ahead of the AJN Steelstock bimota of Max Cook. Leon Haslam completed he top three for the Moto Rapido Racing team, following his impressive recovery from the back of the grid to fifth in race one.
Rory Skinner was fourth fastest as he looks to turn his fortune around after a technical issue put him out of contention in race one, while yesterday’s opening race winner and championship leader Kyle Ryde was fifth.
Ryde’s main title rival Scott Redding was sixth for Hager PBM Ducati, with Joe Talbot and Storm Stacey completing the top eight. Danny Kent and Lee Jackson continued their improved weekend performance by finishing ninth and tenth respectively.
